DELAFIELD  - A 32 Year old SCUBA Diver died At Nagawicka Lake Saturday the 19th.

He was with a group of 6 divers, ice diving in the popular Training Lake.  When 5 of the divers returned to land they noticed that Steven LaLonde was missing.  The found Steven and pulled him out of the water.

Reported by Fox6 Milwaukee,  the SCUBA Diver had lots of Experience.  

It’s common when Ice diving that divers are attached to ropes.  According t the Lake County Fire Chief, Steven Apparently became disconnected from the ropes.

LaLonde, was taken to the hospital where he later died.  The Delafield Police Department stated that equipment failure could have been the cause.

Nagawicka Lake is a 981 acre lake located in Waukesha County.  It’s a popular Ice Diving and Training location.
